The Homeschool Alliance: May 2019

How do we help our kids find the right balance of challenge, competence, and meaning? How does the development of our children’s values play into their academics as well as their values?
Join us in the Homeschool Alliance as we continue our book club for The Brave Learner.
In May we’ll look at the ways information, ideas, and skills can become our children’s personal possession through their
- minds,
- bodies,
- hearts,
- and spirits.
These Ports of Entry, or “access points,” are where education takes root and grows deep inside each child.
We’ll expand our understanding of how children use their minds to learn, and we’ll discuss how learning is also initiated by paying attention to kids’ bodies, hearts, and spirits.
Let’s talk about how we can nurture our children wholly, through all their Ports of Entry, as we homeschool. Also, download a FREE Companion Guide for the book here.
If you missed any of the first three book clubs, you’re in luck! All of the replays are housed inside the Homeschool Alliance so you can listen and watch as you have time.
Join us in May as we continue our book club meetings.
Book Club Webinar: Tuesday May 14 at 7:00 PM ET.
Hope to see you there!
