Friday Freewrite: Eggzactly
Every year, our family dyes eggs…with a twist. On the egg, we use that invisible crayon to write book, movie, or play quotes on the eggs first: with one difference. We replace a key term with “egg.”
For instance
“My kingdom for an egg!”
“May the egg be with you!”
“Hey dude, where’s my egg?”
“Eggzactly where do you think you’re going?”
“Frankly my dear, I don’t give an egg!”
“There’s no egg like home!” . . .
Egg puns work too: like, eggcellent, silly yolk, and hard shelled bloke!
