My most indispensable possession is my library card, for with it I enter different worlds. I ravenously devour written words. I delve deep into research, discovering places I didn’t know existed. I laugh and I cry at stories that twist human emotion like a Boy Scout twisting rope into knots. I am educated at my library. My library card is a key that unlocks many doors in my mind, heart, and soul. I will have a library card to my dying day.
