Friday Freewrite: Listen

Find a place in your house where you can sit and listen without being in the way. With a notebook, jot down all the sounds you hear. Really listen. Can you hear the whir of the computer? The sound of footsteps? The crinkle of paper as someone tosses a balled up wad flyer? Write it all down in a long list.

    I love your last couple of suggestions for writing. It seems like if it comes from somewhere else other than me my daughters are more willing to write it. I also use Time4Writing with them. Thanks for your time of blogging!
