Brave Writer mom, Cathy, writes:

Just wanted to share our Jot it Down Fairy Tales project. My daughter was completely not interested in retelling the tales, so she dressed up and acted them out and retold them in a short and unhappily ever after form. It’s always on her terms.

    I love this idea!
    I love how Cathy allows her daughter to use her creativity in a way that makes sense to her (the child). This child will grow up loving writing and being able to express herself.
