Now I know why I homeschool
My middle child, Jacob (14), just began taking two classes at the local high school. He follows in the footsteps of his older sister and brother who both did the same. Johannah depended on me for the last two years to bring her home from school.
I was late 85% of the time (usually due to forgetting that she was not home… slow learner, I am).
Today was Jacob’s first day. We got there early.
Two and a half hours later, the phone rang.
“Mom, are you coming?”
“No way! I didn’t forget on the first day, did I?”
But, yes, I did.
And that’s why we homeschool. I am always on time and never forget.
