Friday Freewrite: Hyperbole
Hyperbole is a figure of speech that uses exaggeration for emphasis (and is usually not taken literally). Some examples:
- “My feet are killing me.”
- “Her smile was a mile wide.”
- “There’s a ton of laundry to do.”
