Congratulations, Sophia!
Sophia Botran, age 12, wrote an essay about horseback riding while taking Kidswrite Basic in the fall of 2012 with Deb Bell. She submitted her writing piece to the Miami-Dade fair and she won a first place ribbon!
Her piece was also published in “The Bunk Room,” a magazine written for and by kids. Here’s an excerpt:
Learning How to Ride
