We took Kids Write Basic last year and are SO looking forward to our class this fall. My son has dysgraphia and yet with Julie's philosophy and classes he flourishes! You are in the right place! Keep plugged in! And keep encouraging! My son uses Naturally Speaking a speech recognition software but still prefers for me to be the scribe at least initially then I put it on his computer. He loves the CUT and PASTE feature which he didn't "get" until we did an exercise in the Basic course which was basically the same thing but with a really large font and on the floor! I require that he fixes 3 red lines (spelling mistakes) (usually they are whatever ones we are currently focused on....I fix the rest! The joy is seeing HIS writing voice emerge!
